1962 Marx Yogi Bear Jellystone Park Playset in Original Box
This incredible Yogi Bear Jellystone Park playset was recently discovered in an Indiana attic where it was carefully stored for nearly 50 years. It had been sealed until only a few weeks ago to "verify that it was never played with". Nothing was touched and the cover was shut. The unopened contents are in exactly the same position as they were packed at the factory. The box is in spectacular near mint+ condition. Only the remnants of the tape residue and some tiny tears where the staples were carefully removed keep it from perfection! The only set I've seen in person which even comes close was sold during Morphy's 2004 sale. This example grades higher! I've included photographs of every panel including the bottom. Two more photo's show the contents 1) with instructions and 2) with instructions removed. This set was included as part of a collection I recently purchased. It was owned by an older couple who bought it for their grandkids so they wouldn't be bored when they came over. That's why it was never played with and also why the box is in such amazing condition.
